Ed Balls used to sit in my section in the Barclay upper quite a lot when I worked at NCFC,
He was always quite a pleasant, friendly guy who always made time to say hi. He always came and had a quick chat and shook my hand, just like a lot of the regular season ticket holders. He always remembered my name too which surprised me given that the amount of people he must have met and that I wasn't really anyone of any note in his life.
It's an interesting move bringing him in as chairman but based on my experiences of him I'm happy he's on board, irrespective of his political past which a) I don't think really makes any difference and b) I don't really care about anyway.
Welcome aboard Ed, from one city supporter to another.
