It can't be helpful to the players either to be in and out of the side with no real opportunity to build up partnerships or combinations.

Really all that needed addressing from earlier in the season was to drop a couple of the players who kept making errors and perhaps play one more solid midfielder alongside Tettey. We were generally playing well, having plenty of possession and creating lots of chances in virtually every match. I doubt we would have got any lesser return from these last 5 games had we carried on playing as we were.
