I don't gamble or do the lottery, but did put a small amount on Glencore the other week as I think they'll survive. Lonmin is a no no.Gina Rinehart's new mine look terrible timing too.

Best best is spread the risk, a bit in all markets and look for long term growth. Preferably a spread of managed funds.
