Changing times as mentioned later in the board are a real problem. There is no way I can get home from the Arsenal match and be rested enough for work at 6:30 the next morning.
I agree about getting into County Hall early, though my timing is also influenced by missing the start of a game in 1995 when I got caught in a traffic jam on the roadworks to build the Attleborough bypass. In my case the time after arrival might be taken with a walk to the city for chips in the market or reading / Open University work in the car.
