We had some very good players. Wes hoolahan in league 1? What a gift from the gods (roeder and gunn....) that was. Chris Martin and Grant Holt were fantastic goal scorers.

Our players then are better than theirs now, at least in the crucial areas.

Anyone that turns up at Ipswich has to contend with the expectations of the fans and will fail sooner or later. If they got rid of McCarthy, who I think has done a very good job, I think they'd be more likely to drop down a league than get promoted.
