A little boy in my class told me today his mum had said they are not allowed to say the

'c' word at home. 'Or at school!' I told him.

'Do you know what the c word is?' he asked me, surprised.

'Um yes I think so,' I said, a bit nervously.

'It's Christmas' he whispered.

I'm completely with his mum on this one. There should be no mention of the 'c' word this side of November.
