In 'A'-level Chemistry

our teacher used to use an OHP. Once lesson I unscrewed the (perfectly good) bulb just a fraction. He came in, it didn't work. Oh dear, he said, give me a minute. Goes into the backroom. Gets a fresh bulb. Puts it in. Goes into the backroom to dump the old bulb - at which time I unscrew the new bulb just a fraction.

He put three new bulbs in before saying "well I'll have to use the chalkboard instead" and carrying on.
