Rant and question
Shared freehold; during minuted residents meeting a couple of months ago, 3 quotes were presented, one was unanimously chosen, and work costs and implementation were agreed. As such, planning progressed, including individual flat inspections, etc. Final quote came today, so I went and presented the split of costs to each property (as I was responsible for coordinating with the builder). One resident has suddenly refused to pay, saying it is too much, with builders arriving in two weeks time.
Can he renege, or can we push this through? (Ignore repercussions of having a disgruntled neighbour)
4 properties, 3 still want to proceed, 1 has suddenly pulled the plug.
