If the basic fee is say ?7m, we get 50% on day of transfer and 50% in the future
- usually during the next 12 months.
Add ons, eg based on appearances etc have a seperate payment schedule.
The above also applies to players we sign, so a ?2m player results in ?1m being paid on the day of transfer and ?1m being paid later
By the way we had ?3m approx, cash on the last Balance Sheet (31/5/05 I think if I remember correctly)
