You might argue we should have signed another CB, and you wouldn't be wrong. However, centre backs that would offer genuine improvement to our line up would cost ?10m plus and aren't easy to persuade to join.

This time next year, should we still be a prem team, we will lost likely have made some further changes, but that's true of a number of positions, not just CB.
