It's an example of wealth transfer from dumb to smart money. Those with real power are able to move markets in their favour. I don't agree with it, but it's how the world works sadly, the tiny % of the richest and most powerful people and organisations tend to use their power to their advantage to stay there at the expense of the majority of the world population. Obviously there are always exceptions to the rule though
