As much as I seem to be addictive to social networking like bookface, tw@tter etc

I'd still much prefer the days without all this social networking stuff! It's only cos I know it's there that I go on it. Prob don't make sense but there you go. Everywhere you go nowadays, to the pub, park, public transport etc, people are just 'zoned in' on networking. Went out today for lunch and there were a family of 5 with the kids aged between 11-16 approx, the whole table inc the parents were on their smartphones. What makes me lol is that they prob put on their FB status "spending quality family time" or to that affect.

Went to center parcs recently and couldn't get an Internet connection and therefore could not access any social networking sites and it felt great to be cut off from everything and didn't have the urge to go into the 'wi-if zone of CP'. As soon as I got home though, I was back on it like before. Contradicting myself I know.
