I don't think his reading of the game is good enough

To play higher up. He tends to get caught out when leaving his box. In that case I think "fair enough", let's hope our defence can recover rather than you charging out and missing the call completely and costing us a goal, but ideally we would have a keeper who is more proactive in those situations than reactive.
