Also, it's overly simplistic to say we should have kept johnson. If he wanted to go and the price was right (it's more than right it's great!) then why would we stand in his way given he's not likely to be a regular for us?
He was great last season, but that was a one off. He won't do that again. He was a decent player in the preceding seasons but not one that other clubs would have been offering ?6m for!
