Saying something outrageous out loud on a bus full of people
is pretty much like posting something outrageous on a public forum. Some people will take offence, some will not. Some people's idea of outrageous differs from others'. If those people that take offence say something back to you (and some other people may support the person saying something), you're not being bullied. I don't know why some people can't grasp this.
The people on the bus are not all your friends, even if they're all travelling in the same direction. In the words of Bruce Robertson, same rules apply.
