Solution to this yearly tranfer drama
Start actually developing your own players who can compete at a level higher than League 1. In a word, the youth program has been, dreadful. Or if you prefer, abysmal.
Bringing homegrown players through should be the clubs' lifeline yet for years has been a failure. Should be prioriy one at the club in my opinion.
