Was all set to go and got cold feet. Now awaiting others' experiences.

Some seem to hit endless reboot loops, others seem to go very well. A bit concerned about the fact the new desktop apparently features ads (I don't want ads on my desktop) but more concerned that my box continues to work as it's my main source of income (I work from home on it an awful lot)
