I worked with a Very Young manager once.

He thought he was the mutt's - anyway - his Killer Interview Question (he'd read a book saying these were important) was "tell me a joke". The first time he used it, me (as technical lead) him and our boss were interviewing this bod, he asked his Killer Question, and the rest of us in the room (interviewee included) just roared laughing at him.

"Are you f**king sure, Steve?"
