I may have missed something, but where's your evidence for that? Does any manager sound happy in press conferences or interviews? Or do you know him personally or something? Or is it all supposition and interpretation? And what basis do you have for "ridiculous offers", apart from the haggling over Brady, which I took as bargaining to try to get a good deal.

You may be right, I know. But you could also be leaping to "ridiculous" conclusions.
