...the zombie hospital in FujiQ Highland near Mt. Fuji in Japan is without doubt, the best 'ghost house' ride I've ever been on.
It's basically an abandoned hospital that takes about 40 minutes to walk around and they give you a dodgy torch (1 per group to share) and has failing lights, dead ends, creaking doors, etc. and it is manned by dozens of human zombie actors.
Works in Japan because it is like walking around a real life version of Biohazard (game) and Japanese people love being scared s**tless and screaming a lot. The screams of other groups set each other off too. Wouldn't work in the UK because the zombies would probably get punched.
My 8 year old cried the whole way round, my 10 year old steadfastly refused to even go in. I honestly doubt anyone could walk through the whole thing without flinching or jumping multiple times.
It's the dogs nuts.
