Wishful thinking

Sure, we may have a marginally stronger team (or not) but there's not a lot in it, hence why we finished behind both of them. Bournemouth in particular have a lot of players on the up, guys that are in their early to mid 20s, ready to prove themselves on the big stage and improving every year. By contrast we have a lot of seasoned championship players who've had chances in the Prem but never really proven themselves as good starters (bar Ruddy and Bassong).

We REALLY need defenders, our defence wasn't one of the best last year and it'll surely be one of, if not the worst this year without improvement. We also need people (a winger and striker IMO) to get us the goals we need. Deeney and Wilson will likely outscore Jerome, Hooper and Grabban IMO. I'm worried we're getting complacent, we definitely have one of the worst 3 squads at the moment.
