for Liam Brady was Steve Bruce right to describe our original offer as "embarrassing"? I think he probably was. I know that David McNally's intentions were entirely honourable but we might well have got Brady for around ?5m had we not upset Hull and Bruce in the first instance. You win some and you lose some.
