No, but it was someone very similar to him. An OE banker who was single in his late 20s and determined not to be. So being a methodical chap, he went on a Leith's cooking course, learned 3 dinner party menus, then had a dinner party every single Friday night for six months until he found the right girl. My wife (then gf) and I were often asked along so we got to know his menus pretty well. The best dish was the salmon coulibiac, the worst the Stilton soup. It was so thick and fatty and salty and disgusting.
