Try a site like www.booking.com to find a B&B/hotel

Probably best to stay in York overnight, as by the time you get back to Dagenham (on club coach?) there'll only be night buses running, and I'm not sure there's many hotels/B&Bs in the area around the ground. It's easy to get from York to Norwich by train both ways - one change at Peterborough

also York is a nice city for sightseeing. And probably has a sports shop somewhere
