Everything so far points to him being successful.

If he's successful, i don't see him going at the first opportunity. He's so young, he's got time on his side and a successful Norwich City could be an excellent springboard to a really top club in due course. Lambert had a reputation as a bit of a mercenary. Just ask Colchester.
