I have gatorskins and on them rain or shine, commuting and pleasure

I live in Vancouver which can make the UK look like a desert at times when it comes to rain and I've never had a problem with grip. As for punctures I've had none, and I've gone through more than one pair with the amount of riding I do. Slime tubes are a waste of money, if you are that worried about punctured and you ride a ton then tubeless is the way to go.
