At least I think that's what it was .. A camera on a tube down my throat into the stomach. Is that what you face? I found it uncomfortable on the way in and out but only temporarily. Slightly sore throat but not much really. You will gag a bit so don't try to fight it. Staying calm is the key.

Diagnosed an ulcer which was treated by pills - would have been significant surgery a few years ago.
