Top work and well done for quitting with a profit - but
A mate from work was at the City/Villa match a couple of years ago. He?s not a season ticket holder but went with a spare from a family member. After a few beers in a Wetherspoons he wandered over to the fruit machine put his change in and came out with a jackpot of ?100+.
Not following my advice of quitting whilst ahead he went to the bookies at the River End, stuck his bagful of ?1 coins on the counter, less a couple for a hot dog and a coffee on 1-2 Villa and Holt to score anytime.
He was only one in the lower tier secretly fist pumping when Agbonlahor scored the late winner.
He showed me the winning slip, think it was around ?3300.
