absolutely agree, been saying it for years BUT......

is the alternative of getting in a Billionaire owner any guarantee of success? Infact it can work the other way if they go f**king nuts on spending on the wrong players.
More so with FFP rules.
QPR and Cardiff are two good examples.
QPR will have to gut their squad next season (which might not be a bad thing for them long term TBF)

Having more money to spend on wages and transfers tends to attract mercenary type players who are just looking at a payday, knowing relegation just means another great opportunity at another huge signing bonus.

I think being a club that bounces between the PL and Champs might not be a bad thing.
If you have excellent financial people in place at the club you can make it work and guarantee the short/medium term future of the club.
