Everton 1 Norwich 1

November 19th 1988 - my 8th birthday. My dad worked abroad a lot when I was growing up so didn't really see much of him until he finished that job a couple of years later, but he was home at that time so I persuaded him to take me up there. My grandparents lived in Stoke so we stayed there the night before, and we met up with some of my dad's mates in a pub before kick off. Still get the save nervous excitement before a game now as I did then. Happy times.
