Chase?
Sir Arthur South was Chairman at the time. I wonder if there were ever any fires at the Norwich Fur Company?
The story sounds odd to me.
If Heginbotham had made all that money out of starting fires why was he in desperate straits again?
If Martin Fletcher's mother knew all about Heginbotham's track record with fires how come the police didn't?
Or the insurers?
Or anyone that gave evidence to Popplewell?
Or the fire service?
Or the fire brigades union whose members would have been placed in mortal danger by his activities?
I wonder how close his connection with the other buidings that burned down was?
Was he conected with any fires post Valley Parade?
Worth better investigation than it may have had surely, but do 8 previous fires in 18 years make it certainly arson and mass-murder?
