The realists can only be those that think deal with the disappointment the quickest

Those that know we will always win some and lose some and therefore accept it when it happens.

Moaning and criticising when the inevitable does happen is no more realist than someone that buries their head in the sand and says everything's ok.

It's just different people voicing the same emotion (disappointment based on high expectations) in a different way.
