I think their actions have been pretty genuine IMHO

I know some would disagree.

If they would have done nothing they would have been smashed.......... so they reach out and try and do something........ and get smashed.

Im not sure why this guy has hired a lawyer and is doing the media circuit.
Maybe I am wrong but you see this in the UK and US and its normally someone looking to get something.
