I've been the same. But these days I am all iOS and OSX...
Used Windows for years until fighting with Vista. Needed a new desktop and the iMac at the time was the same price as the same spec Windows machine. So I took a chance on the mac. Loved it. And it is still brilliant despite being 6 years old this year, so that saved me money from buying and upgrading desktops. All I've spent on it was 80 euros on a RAM upgrade - most OS X upgrades were free.
I was lucky enough to get my iPhones (3G, 4, 5 and 6) and iPads (2, Air) for free or dirt cheap from work. And got a 2008 MBA from Ebay which again is still working brilliantly - even 82% of the original battery capacity despite being almost 7 years old and used all the time.
I no longer own any Windows stuff. It's not Apple fandom - simply accidentally getting Apple stuff cheap or free and loving it. So last year I actually paid full whack for a new MBA.
