Mrs B invented Soup Pie, which is very very fine genius. Your soup would be perfect for it
What you do is, you make a veg soup, have soup for your tea, keeping a load back, then the next day or whenever, fry up some mince, steak, chicken, pork, whatever (we normally have minced beef, but the world is your oyster.) and add the leftover soup - just enough that it's not too runny. Whack that in a suet pastry pie crust, oven for 30 mins on 180?C, 160?C fan.
Gee Knee Us. You won't believe how nice that is.
