If the Suffolk media and McCarthy pick this up as indifferent or dismissive, they wont need much else to fire the Ipswich players ahead of Sunday.
He should 'sort of' focus on picking a 'sort of' team ahead of Sunday which will break them down technically instead of playing entry-level mind games.
He has a lot to learn.
