I don't think Bassong would have made much difference earlier this season

He wouldn't have performed for Adams as they clearly didn't like each other.

Bassong has played well since he has been brought into the team but he isn't the reason we have been keeping clean sheets. Playing with a very deep midfielder and having wingers tracking back, as well as having a settled back 4 has all helped us be much tighter at the back.
