Not apologising for it but the whole things has been blown massively out of proportion

The prime minister commenting on it. The media going ballistic. Talk of anyone identified being banned for 3 years. A couple or blokes did not let a man onto an already quite full metro carriage. Nobody really knows if that was because he was black, French or just "not a Chelsea fan." A few more fleetingly sang a song which may or may not have been about Jon Terry or may or may not have been deliberately linked to the bloke not being allowed on the train. If that's the case then the meaning is clear and wrong.

Its unsavoury behaviour. The guy who pushed him may have committed an offence but its pretty minor stuff and yet again being seized upon by our media to slag off English football fans the vast majority of whom these days are amongst the best behaved around. Meanwhile over in Spain whole stands make monkey noises at players and in Italy fans get regularly murdered with very little reaction.
