was a day of utter perfection. My boy's first game; we played like real madrid; bradders (my m.o.m., despite hoops clinical finishing) was like some weird cross beteween glen hoddle and roy keane; redders scored a freekick from heaven, and as for the second ghoul .....

Having said which ..... it did look for the first 30 mins at least that whittaker was some bloke from the pub who'd never actually played footy before. Is he always like that? I mean, his lack of ball control is astounding! Turner did really well after he came on. We'll need a bit more of a (defensive) midfield v charlton I suspect ....

Liked the look of the Tony A - ran a lot, good first touch, went in the right direction, certainly not off the pace - quite promising.
