Did you ever experience....

Flying into Kai Tak, the original HK airport, before they reclaimed land from the sea to take the runway away from the city??

Used to literally take a glidepath through the streets with people looking down at you from your balconys! One commercial pilot told me landing a jumbo on a simulator was standard final test for any commercial pilot.... Very scarey!
