Gibbs first start was at home, and Huckerby was on the bench in his place. That was the end of anyone giving Gibbs a chance (despite what follow ups will say about him not being good enough, or in midfield when he's a defender. He wasn't, Wenger has just played him there)

Kane missed a one on one, at home. Nobody praised him for getting into that position, escaping his marker and getting the chance largely on his own. It's just remembered that he missed a one on one against West ham (cue, he got injured that's why he didn't do well here. It's not true, he was given 45 minutes against Luton and subbed off at half time, which is why spurs recalled him, because they knew he was a good player, and everyone does now)

It's up to the people who've paid their money to put players at the club in a difficult place, but people who do boo never spot that they are weakest brained specimens.
