Ridiculous criticism of Etuhu signing
i cannot believe the ridiculous criticism of the Etuhu signing, encapsulated by the rant at the start of this website. Talk about short sighted fans with bees in their bonnets. Etuhu has been utter rubbish SO FAR, he may yet turn out to be one of our poorest signings ONE DAY. Note the words.....So far, one day. I seem to remember everyone slagging off Doherty as the worst thing since collapsing bread, but he is golden boy now seemingly.
How many matches has etuhu had in one go. Some players take longer than others to settle in, and as for the line about "the club not listening to the fans about players". Since when should a club let fans dictate who is signed and not. All these armchair fans (including me) who think they know better about players i dont feel have the background in the game that any management staff have (including worthy). We are no experts. Also i dont really think all the moaners have been in training every day since etuhu signed. If the guy was hopeless day in day out and was clearly not going to improve in time, he wouldnt have been signed! We all have a right to rant, but please see the bigger picture and the give the bloke a long run of games before prosecuting, sentencing and jailing the bloke. Rant over, now what is for lunch.
