I'm loathe to agree with Peter Grant on anything really - but he genuinely seemed to think McNally's way of doing these things isn't normal at all.

If it did go wrong, I would agree with you re: the football board. Though then again, Neil will know what a huge move this is - so if he bottled it, it might even be for very healthy reasons which don't reflect badly on us.

I'm 90% confident he'll say yes - but only 90%.
