How's this all going to impact on Saturday then?

We could have the players being watched by their new manager in the stands but managed on the day by a p**sed off Phelan who has missed out on the top job. I still recall those two games under Butterwortb before we appointed Lambert. He knew he wasn't getting the job, didn't give a toss and it was reflected in the players performance. I'm surprised therefore they've not strung this out til after the weekend to keep Phelan motivated but I guess it all leaking from Hamilton has scuppers any chance of that.

Just really hope we don't waste this game Saturday with a no show. Hopefully the players have enough pride to motivate themselves for this one regardless of what's happened with the manager.
