motor insurance bods - short term car insurance
need to renew a car insurance for less than a couple of weeks in january but the short-term car insurance quotes given are ridonculous. the old renewal policy states i can cancel in the first 14 days and they will refund less a proportionate deduction for the time they have provided cover and an additional ?38 admin charge plus some additional insurance premium taxes.
so, the question i have is; would the proportionate deduction be pro-rota or, would it be a proportionate amount that they make up based on the word extortion?

- I think most policies allow you to cancel within 14 days, leaving only the admin charge to (General Chat) - Vivid Data Shark, Dec 30, 16:38:45
