It suits that narrative though doesn't it, it must be Phelan so Adams is clearly useless

I just don't know enough about what a role a coach has versus what role a manager has. The way it's portrayed on here, Adams now simply sits and watches Phelan in awe while he now runs the show. It's all so simple.

As got preached to me earlier this week - correlation doesn't necessarily equal causation. Or something. It's obvious he's making a difference - after all that's why we sacked a coach and got a different one in. It'll all come out in test of time I'm sure, but for now - nobody really knows.
