politicians have a lot of faults
but isn't the main issue that the public have with them is that they don't give them exactly what they want. However what the public want is generally loads more spending (loads of money for hospitals, schools, roads, public transport etc etc) but also loads less taxes.
Since this is impossible the public will never get what they want so politicians will always disappoint.
The truth is if you want stuff you have to make sacrifices for it.
This is why sleaze merchants like UKIP can thrive by pretending that all these (rather obvious)problems are actually instead caused by 'someone else' (immigrants, EU) and so if you get rid of them you can have all your stuff without having to make any sacrifice yourself...
