That's the wrong way round

A warming planet causes climate change. For example, arctic amplification leads to a reduced latitudinal temperature gradient which means a weaker, slacker polar frontal jet which leads to more polar incursions into mid-latitudes. So perversely winters *could* get colder, or at least cold outbreaks could become more frequent.
