Could be other reasons as well. Keen individual fresh in the job v someone who has been

in place now for 5 years and earn't a lot of money being one of them.

I don;t know whether there was some power struggle at board level of something off the pitch changed but from mid last season onwards the tone and robustness of the "leadership" of the club just seemed to change. When the struggles under Hughton started, based on the first 3 years we all consoled ourselves with the though we had finally had professional, firm and decisive leadership on the board and it just never materialised.
