Points Per Game - anyone looked at this?
Supposing we had not let in that last minute goal against Charlton (so 0-0) and defended better against Forest (and got a 1-0 win) and managed to prevent one of those Brighton goals (and got 3-2 win)?
... and we win the next three games, then we will be back to a 2 points per game average.
But as we didn?t, we have to win the next 9 games to hit that 2 ppg spot.
In fact, if we win all of our remaining home games and draw all the aways, we will still end up with 1.72 ppg.
So, win the rest of our home games, draw the aways (apart from Huddersfield, Rotherham, Birmingham, Millwall, Bournemouth, Brighton and Fulham which we must win) then we will end up with 2.02173913 points per game.
The same ppg as Burnley last season.
Enough to go up.
